Jefferson Airplane

Just wanted to let you all know that I'll be 'away from blog' for a few weeks to attend my brother's wedding.

I'm packed and ready to go but have decided to leave my snazzy stewardess outfit (as seen here) at home. My, how times have changed.

Bumling Fool

A couple of months ago, I blogged about a gorgeous green ceiling light that I was trying to find more information on. I have finally uncovered its identity - the Bumling.
Designed in 1968 by Anders Pehrson for Atelje Lyktan, this green Scandinavian beauty would be perfect for my kitchen. But hey, I'll take one in any colour really. This is the photo, that made me fall for the Bumling:
You can see my original post here but these pics show you how cool this light is in any colour:

Now I know what you are called, dear Bumling, I can start to track you down.

More Bird Watching

I've posted about these kinds of Carlton Ware cruet sets before.
I've also posted about the Hornsea bird dishes.

Now, you can almost have both in the same piece!

This Hornsea set, designed by John Clappison, is up for grabs on eBay right now.

Red and Orange

20:27:00 MoonDoggie 2 Comments

I've been quite attracted to the combination of red and orange lately.
Here are some things that took my fancy:

Carlton Ware money box

Jenn Ski print

Thomas Rosenthal plate

Thomas Rosenthal coffee set

Ikea Gunvor fabric

Daisy sauce pot

Daisy mug

Mini cream pitchers

Friendship pattern pyrex

(sorry, link lost - please contact me if you own this image)
